Chamber Annual Events
The Lillington Chamber of Commerce hosts four major events during the year.
Annual Chamber Banquet
The annual awards and recognition banquet is scheduled in February each year and is held at the Harnett County Commons area. The event includes a catered meal, entertainment and the presentation of awards to the winners of the awards for Man and Woman of the Year, Small and Large Business, and the Bill and Mildred Johnson Beautification Award.
The public is invited to attend the banquet. Ticket prices in 2017 will be $30 for Chamber members and $35 for non-members and can be reserved on-line or purchased at the Chamber office at 24 West Front Street in Lillington.
The Chamber's Annual Golf Tournament is scheduled for September 14, 2016 at Pine Burr Golf Course. Registration begins at 8:00 am and the tournament will begin at 9:00 a.m. The cost per player is $60 and includes the green fees, cart, beverages, breakfast and 2 mulligans per player. To register your team and/or become a sponsor, complete the registration form.
The Annual Fall Festival is held on on the third Saturday of September. The date for 2016 is September 17th. This signature family event offers shopping, all day entertainment, food and games for children. Vendors selling arts, crafts, handmade items, commercial and retail products and food are invited to participate as well as local organizations. Spaces for 75 vendors are available. Vendors can register on-line and will be invoiced or you can complete the paper copy to mail to the office. NOTE: as of August 26, 2015, there are only 10 spaces remaining.
The Fourth Annual Business Expo was held on May 25th on the campus of Campbell University in the Convocation Center. The event included 47 businesses and agencies, free samples of food and a chance to win door prizes. The event is free.
